Home/About Us
About us
We are committed to raising fruitful and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
Who we are
The Liberia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church was established in 1833 and is one of the oldest churches planted on Liberian soil. Today the Conference forms the Liberia Episcopal Area, led by Resident Bishop Samuel J. Quire Jr.
We are committed to raising fruitful and faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Our congregations, districts, schools, clinics and mission stations work together to share the love of God and meet the basic needs of the communities we serve.

Mission statement of the Liberia Episcopal Area
We make disciples, plant new congregations and carry the Gospel to every community and people group.
We build up believers through Christian education, schools, fellowships and the training of leaders.
We gather to praise God, celebrate the sacraments and grow together as the body of Christ.
