MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Liberia Enlightenment Movement wants to spread our message of hope and enlightenment of our motherland, Liberia, West Africa. We believe that a single action of putting Liberia first can make a difference in our country and that collective action can impact the Liberian people and the world. Therefore, through advocacy, conferences, dialogue, and outreach activities, our team works each day tirelessly to contribute their part to the greater good of Mama Liberia.
Finding Our Identity
Through our engagement and advocacy, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the Liberian communities around the world and Liberia. Finding Our Identity brings Liberians together for historic dialogue related to her nation’s story of slavery and the effects of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade that exist today. Finding Our Identity will include DIALOGUE FORUM in Liberian Communities in North America, Europe, and Australia. Another program of importance will be the CULTURAL DIVERSITY YOUTH CAMP bringing together Liberian youth in the diaspora to learn our culture and history. Finding our identity is one of our key areas of focus here at Liberia Enlightenment Movement and a source of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. Contact us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program. Thus, “to know Liberia, one must understand the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.”
LIBERIA YOUNG MINISTRY CONFERENCE
An annual young minister empowerment forum for Liberian pastors and church workers under 40 years. It was launched February 7-9, 2019, in Buchanan, Liberia. One of the focuses is enlightening young Ministers of Faith about slavery and how it affects Liberia and Africa. A historical look at Christianity in Africa, Liberia. Thus, empowering the next generation of Justice preachers and leaders.
We Can Beat It
Through this program, we intend to reach and engage disadvantaged young people, especially the large population of substance abuse youth. We have the potential to make a real and positive change in Liberia. Youth and young adult is one of our key areas of focus here at Liberia Enlightenment Movement and a source we hope of much success for our Non-Profit Organization. Contact us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
LITME Conference
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need when they need it. The conference will bring together young people from across the 15 counties into the four regions of the Republic; thus, young people will be empowered to create and lead the movement in each county, Schools, and Universities/colleges. This annual event will be centered on LIBERIA FIRST, dialoguing past, present, and future, reflecting on our failure and how we can move forward as the oldest democracy on the continent of Africa.
LIBERIA FIRST
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies and ideas to create a better Liberia for our children and unborn Liberians. Our team is working each day to make a positive impact. Join our movement and take the pledge LIBERIA FIRST. Then, contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause. IN THE WORDS OF US PRESIDENT JOHN KENNY “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” IT’S TIME LIBERIANS TO ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR LIBERIA.
HEALTH CLINIC & HEALTH JUSTICE
At Liberia Enlightenment Movement, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts to address health care and health justice issues; why did our government not invest in our healthcare system and waste the country’s resources on medical tourism? Health Clinics and Justice is by no means an easy task. However, through cooperation and community empowerment, we can facilitate progress in this area; thus, as we dialogue healthcare, we also plan to construct modern clinics in each of our 15 counties. We are constantly striving to make a difference and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
